As the woman in this video says, this hemp rebar was tested to be twice as strong as steel, but it's only a quarter of the weight! As another woman in one of the videos below put it, hemp rebar is able to eliminate steel rebar challenges with corrosion. As Lucas Evans from E3 Agriculture says, "Steel and salt and water don't get along." Eventually, rebar used in tropical climates will eventually degrade.
