Get Involved - How to Get Industrial Hemp & Cannabis Subsidized to make it more AFFORDABLE!

Government officials need to hear from US, in order to make industrial hemp cheap to use, as it should be. Because Donald Trump has such an extensive background in building and construction, I really want him to see what a huge difference industrial hemp could make for the U.S. economy.  Trump is all about EFFICIENCY and cutting through bureaucracy. 

Please call the White House and Gavin Newsom's office, and let them know why we need to bring back Industrial hemp production. This needs to be subsidized ASAP!

Because Industrial Hemp production is not (yet) subsidized, it costs slightly more to build a house with hemp, than to build a house without it. Even though it has incredible benefits like fire resistance, top-notch insulation, carbon sequestration, vermin and termite resistance, many people will still avoid using it because they want to build their homes as quickly as possible (and their home builders may not even know about it).  

Home builders need INCENTIVES to use hempcrete. Farmers need to provide more financial incentives (besides carbon credits) to grow hemp. Right now, it's not very profitable to grow hemp. But a lot more people would grow it, if there were more financial incentives to do so. 

Industrial Hemp requires very little water and NO pesticides in order to grow it! It only takes about 2 1/2 acres of hemp to build a (typical) house, and it can take as little as 70 days to grow a crop of hemp.

Please get involved - there aren't nearly enough people who are working to push this through.  Pushing for Industrial Hemp production is one of the greatest things we can do to protect our environment, so the more people on board, the better!
