Hempcrete is easy to work with, and it has low toxicity. This builder, Adam Abbott, is an environmental scientist who says it's the best building material he's ever worked with. He's looked at lots of different types of eco-friendly building materials, including straw bale, mud brick, earth ships, but he said that by far, hemp won out, hands down. He says when you walk into a hemp home, it's like walking into a "warm hug of a house."
